A consultant in the financial services industry with more than 35 years experience in the investment industry, he most recently was an Operations Consultant for Blair Franklin Capital Partners Inc. where his previous role was Chief Financial Officer. Joined McLeod Young Weir in 1974 and became Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Committee in 1983. Assisted in the integration of support departments after the acquisition of McLeod Young Weir by the Bank of Nova Scotia and retired from the Bank in 1998.
He holds the CPA and CGA designations (retired) and is a Director of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada and serves as a Member of the Audit Committee. He has served as a Member of the Hearing Panels for the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada. He has served as an Executive Committee Member of IIROC (formerly Investment Dealers Association) and is past Chair of the Financial Administrators Section (FAS). He also Chaired the Working Committee that developed the Capital Formula requirements for IIROC Dealer Members.
